5 ASGE WGO Postgraduate Course at ACG: WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND The ASGE WGO Postgraduate Course is designed to highlight the state-of-the-art endoscopic management of gastrointestinal diseases that attendees encounter daily, and present important recent innovations that are changing clinical practice. The faculty will provide tips and techniques that can be immediately employed to improve endoscopic outcomes. The series of course presentations will include case discussions and video content to stimulate audience dialogue with worldrenowned faculty experts. This course gives expert solutions based on data and personal experience for challenging yet common problems such as antithrombotic management, treatment of challenging colonic polyps, detection and management of Barrett s esophagus, screening for early gastric cancer, new methods of controlling GI hemorrhage, ERCP management of difficult stones, how to avoid post-ercp pancreatitis, optimization of EUS-guided tissue acquisition, endoscopic repair of GI perforations and leaks, management of difficult esophageal strictures, and how to develop an endoscopic bariatric practice.
