First, I work with all of the Shands Transplant Service Programs (i.e. Heart, Lung, Liver, Kidney, Bone Marrow) I assess cognitive/behavioral health factors relevant to organ

4 transplantation such as understanding, risk-benefit analysis, motivation, quality of life, medical adherence history, emotional adjustment, coping resources, substance use history, support system adequacy, and other factors as relevant to optimizing outcome. These assessments include interviews of candidate, caregiver(s), review of medical records, psychological testing and/or cognitive evaluation. Some of these services are provided solely by me as a direct clinical service while some are performed in the context of clinical supervision of graduate students, interns, and post-doctoral fellows. In addition, I also assess patients reporting sleep disturbances and use cognitivebehavioral interventions to treat insomnia (CBTi). Lastly, I provide general consultation to Shands Hospital Inpatients and Psychology Clinic Outpatients. b) Teaching: a. CLP 7934 Introduction to Clinical Psychology Practicum i.
