3 Introduction to Care Pathways Care Pathways, part of the McKesson portfolio of clinical tools, provides a simplified and actionable version of the guidelines that can be used to standardize work-up, treatment and monitoring of a disease and treatment setting. Accessible online and regularly updated, Care Pathways can save physicians significant time researching evidencebased treatments, while providing practices with the information and tools needed to deliver patient care safely and efficiently. Physicians can quickly and easily customize their own regimens to meet their patients' needs based on McKesson Treatment Guidelines and other national guidelines Comprehensive checklists detail the necessary steps of treatment planning, selection and execution at specific points of cancer care Because they complement a physician's current treatment plans, Care Pathways can help practices stay in control of their patient care choices while progressing toward regimen standardization Key Benefits Efficiently Standardize Work-up and Treatment Planning Care Pathways can be used to standardize work-up by providing a checklist of steps for completion of new patient evaluation including history, physical exam, evaluation of risk factors and family history, and required lab and radiology tests (if applicable). They also help when monitoring the patient at different points throughout the treatment cycle and during follow-up exams. 5 Launching Care Pathways Getting Started Log in to the Onmark website ( with your Onmark User ID and Password. If you have trouble logging in, please call After logging in: From the Top Navigation, choose Clinical From the Drop Down Menu, choose Clinical Tools From the next Drop Down Menu, choose Pathways & Orders

6 Navigating Care Pathways Pages Click View Care Pathways and Treatment Orders documents.

7 Terms of Use The Terms of Use Page will appear. Scroll to the bottom of the page to accept the Terms of Use. You must click I Accept these Terms to view the Pathways documents.

8 The Care Pathways and Treatment Order forms page will appear. Click the bottom blue bar labeled Care Pathways (click here to expand). Click on the diagnosis and treatment setting desired. Then click Download Selections. You may choose more than one document by holding down the CTRL key.

9 A new window will open with the document selected. Example of Breast Cancer, Adjuvant and Neoadjuvant pathway:

10 Making changes to the document Once you have reviewed the document, make any changes necessary to customize for your practice Once all changes are complete, save to a shared file or a desktop for office employees and physicians to use when needed for treatment decisions
