WHEREAS, the Ouachita Parish Police Jury ( OPPJ ) has received Capital Outlay funding from the State of Louisiana for Planning and Construction of a Control Structure in Hannah s Run (FP&C Project No. 50-J37-01); WHEREAS, the State of Louisiana requires that the OPPJ designate an individual authorized to act on behalf of the OPPJ in all matters pertaining to this project, including certifying requests for State disbursements; and, WHEREAS, said representative must be an OPPJ official and not a contracted consultant; NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED that the Ouachita Parish Police Jury does hereby designate its Parish Treasurer, Brad Cammack, to serve as its Authorized Representative for the above-described project and further authorizes him to act on behalf of the Ouachita Parish Police Jury in connection therewith. * * * PAGE 6 OF 14

OLLIBETH REDDIX, DISTRICT D: 1) DISCUSSION/ACTION: RESOLUTION NO A RESOLUTION CHANGING THE POLLING PLACE FOR PRECINCT 18 OF OUACHITA PARISH FROM THE FORMER RICHWOOD HEAD START CENTER TO RICHWOOD MIDDLE SCHOOL; AND FURTHER PROVIDING WITH RESPECT THERETO. WHEREAS, the former Richwood Head Start Center located at 5130 Brown Road, Monroe, LA 71202, presently serves as the polling place for Precinct 18 of Ouachita Parish; WHEREAS, the Head Start program has relocated its operations and vacated the Richwood Head Start Center; WHEREAS, the vacated Richwood Head Start Center does not presently maintain reliable utilities or heating and is no longer in a condition suitable to serve as a polling place; WHEREAS, the condition of the former Richwood Head Start Center requires that the polling place for Precinct 18 be relocated; and, WHEREAS, the nearby Richwood Middle School building is a new modern public building that will provide an excellent and accessible location for a polling place with utilities, restroom facilities, and ample lighted parking; NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED by the Ouachita Parish Police Jury in legal and regular session that in accordance with La. R.S. 18:531, et seq. the polling place for Precinct 18 of Ouachita Parish be and hereby is changed from the former Richwood Head Start Center, 5130 Brown Road, Monroe, La , to the Richwood Middle School, 5855 U.S. Hwy. 165 South, Monroe, La law. 8 2) DISCUSSION/ACTION: RESOLUTION NO A RESOLUTION CHANGING THE POLLING PLACE FOR PRECINCT 67 OF OUACHITA PARISH FROM OUACHITA HALL ON THE ULM CAMPUS TO CYPRESS POINT UNIVERSITY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL; AND, FURTHER PROVIDING WITH RESPECT THERETO. WHEREAS, Ouachita Hall on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Monroe ( ULM ) presently serves as the polling place for Precinct 67 of Ouachita Parish; WHEREAS, due to the level of activity on campus it is sometimes difficult for voters to find convenient parking near this polling place; WHEREAS, the nearby Cypress Point University Elementary School building is a modern public building that will provide an excellent and accessible location for a polling place with utilities, restroom facilities, and ample lighted parking; NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED by the Ouachita Parish Police Jury in legal and regular session that in accordance with La. R.S. 18:531, et seq. the polling place for Precinct 67 of Ouachita Parish be and hereby is changed from ULM s Ouachita Hall, 1100 University Avenue, Monroe, La , to the Cypress Point University Elementary School, 6701 Mosswood Drive, Monroe, La law. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of this change be made in accordance with * * * 3) DISCUSSION/ACTION: J. S. Clark Cemetery MR. SHANE SMILEY, DISTRICT E: 1) DISCUSSION/ACTION: RESOLUTION NO A RESOLUTION CANCELLING CERTAIN FEDERAL AID OFF-SYSTEM BRIDGE PROJECTS; AND, FURTHER PROVIDING WITH RESPECT THERETO.
