1 Digestive Project Part 1 Purpose: For Part 1 of the Digestive System project you will be researching various minerals and vitamins that are essential for the body. Background Info. 1. What is the difference between a lipid soluble and water soluble vitamin? Which vitamins fall under each category? 2. Minerals are also important to the body, but are needed in smaller amounts.
