I was fortunate enough to have briefly met Terry and his lovely wife Abby. What a picture of love and happiness. May his family be comforted by the outpouring of love and support from all who will remember Terry fondly. I did not know Terry (except as a familiar face on Baker Street) - my husband Dan Metzger did. When our youngest son Colin died suddenly in 2009, Terry sent us a card: he shared with us that he too had lost a child, a daughter, as an infant. Terry's appreciation and understanding of our loss at the time really stays with me, and inspires me to write this. My heartfelt condolences to you all. I interacted with him in a professional setting in which he consulted me as an expert witness. What a true gentleman he was and so caring of his clients. He would always mention his family when we spoke. My sympathy

5 to his family. He will be remembered in the most positive light by me and I am sure by everyone who had the pleasure to interact with him. Undoubtedly I became the attorney and Terry the client. Admirably he played along and ticked the boxes. Hence we enjoyed each other. Tribute from Daniel W Metzger Relation: Colleague I was saddened when I heard of Terry's sudden departure from this world. I first met Terry about 20 years ago at the courthouse in Rossland. I consulted with him on a case we were both involved in. I remember how he encouraged me about the testimony I would give in court. He also demonstrated a high degree of interest and understanding. Over the years I as a counsellor/therapist and Terry as a lawyer shared about a dozen common clients. I always enjoyed our interactions and benefited from them in the knowledge and emotional satisfaction I gained. When my youngest son died suddenly in 2009 I received condolences from Terry. I can imagine how his loved ones must now be grieving. I only want to say that the depth of your grief is a gift because it is indeed a measure of the depth of your love for Terry. I have had business dealings with Terry on and off for about five years and he was always polite, attentive and clear with his advice. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. Coming out and spending a day with my family reminded me of visiting my Uncle Larry in Vancouver with my parents. I was fortunate to provide some family photos of his grandparents, and my parents visiting all those years ago. Tribute from Jan Fishman Relation: Colleague I first met Terry about 10 years ago, when we were on the opposite side of a couple of lawsuits. He was such a pleasure to deal with. Years later I was in Nelson on other business, on a whim I called Terry. He dropped everything and joined me for lunch; we spent several pleasant hour together. When I joined the plaintiff's bar he was one of the first to send me a warm welcome. He was a fine man, and will be missed.
