1 PHONE: (972) Ron Schooley October 14, December 16, 2007 Ron Schooley, age 59, of Plano, Texas passed away December 16, He was born October 14, 1948, in Toppenish, Washington to Bruce and Audrey (Fowler) Schooley. Ron was an avid golfer, fisherman, and loved the Pacific Northwest. He graduated from Western Washington University and was a corporate executive for JC Penney where he worked for thirty four years. Ronald retired in He is survived by his daughters, Carie Schooley of Seattle, Washington and LeAnne Schooley of Everett, Washington; sisters, Sharon Bradford of Ferndale, Washington and Wyoma Stewart of Desoto, Texas; mother, Audrey Schooley of Zillah, Wasington; best friend and first and only true love, Jackie Schooley of Seattle, Washington and numerous other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Schooley. A memorial service will be held at later date in Washington State to celebrate Ron s life. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity in Ron's name. Memorials I met Ron when Jackie and I were in high school. We sure liked those "Zillah Boys". We had some great times together. Riding around going to the lot. The "girls" through Jackie a surprise baby shower for Carie. I remember Ron's face turning bright red when we told him. He was a quiet fellow, just a nice guy. He was taken to soon, but my the family know that you are in my thoughts and prayer. susan

2 SUSAN BRUMBACK, MARCH 17, 2008 Ron Schooley was my nephew and was truly a fine man. We enjoyed many fun times together fishing and camping. He will be grrstly missed by me and my family. But I really did enjoy spending time with Ron when he, Sharon and Jay came to Arkansas a few years ago. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Jackie, Leann, Carrie and Sharon. BARBARA BRYDLE, DECEMBER 30, 2007 I will miss Ron more than I can say right now.. Ron was like his dad, made of the same great character and presence. My favorite memory is when Ron, his dad, Uncle Louis and myself went on a fishing trip to Rivers Inlet. I can never forget him and his dad in the same boat together fishing, the feelings they shared you had to see because I can't describe it with words. Ron and I had these( I know you don't have to say it thoughts between us ). I have no doubt Ron knew how much I cared for him. You surely will be missed Ron.. 3 Ron was a wonderful brother. I have so many happy memories of camping trips. Jackie do you remember Pinas Lake? The very best was Nimpo Lake and Campbell River. We had such a good time when we visited Ron in Plano. Ron kept the beat and I sang all the way across Texas into Arkansas and Corpus Christi.(much to Jay's chagrine)i had my best game of golf when I golfed with him (he beat me by 1 stroke) I will miss him every day. He was so proud of you Jackie and both of his girls. He was happiest when he was here with you. We'll have our Ronnie weekend when you get back and we can choose a date. We love you so much. SHARON BRADFORD, DECEMBER 28, 2007 I worked for Ron on more than one occasion at JCP and I must say he was a wonderful person and an excellent buyer!!! Great memories of mill trips to the WestPoint Stevens factories "back in the day". He always wanted what was best for the JCP customer. Happiest on the golf course. I still don't know how Ron, West, Collier, and I shot 16 under and didn't even PLACE in the JCP tournament...we had fun though. He'll rest in peace; the good ones always do. DEE (AUDRA) MIDDLETON, DECEMBER 21, 2007 Ron took me on the first tavern tour of my life when I was 18. He had told me how to change my draft card so that it said I was 21. He was wrong, as we discovered at the third establishment we visited. It did not disuade us from partaking in numerous misadventures around Bellingham for a couple of years. Ron, Jackie, and I were in a pleasurable fog (from one cause or another) for a couple of years there. When they moved to Seattle years later I took them on a tour of the city on the day Mt St. Helens blew. We were oblivious, as, like I said, was often the case. We lost touch when they moved to Texas, but I have

5 thought of Ron often, as I will continue to do. He was, and is, a great friend of mine. My condolences to Carrie (who I carried around on my shoulders when she was two) and Leann. As I recall, he replaced fast talking Ed Doran. Ron was a quiet solid citizen and he will be missed. But, if faith means anything, and I think it does, Ron is in a better place, playing a Higher Level of Golf than he has ever played. May his soul rest in peace. To Ron's Family my prayers and sadness are extended to you. BILL WEST, DECEMBER 20, 2007 When Ron was the sheet buyer at JCPenney, he was the first buyer I worked for as an Assistant Buyer. I was a little apprehensive about working for him because he had quite a reputation. I soon learned his bark was much worse then his bite. There were times when I wanted to slap him, but he always took care of the people that worked for him which I'll never forget. He was a great guy!! May God bring you peace during this time of sadness.
