The pneumonia vaccination is available at no cost to members over the age of 65 or members aged with risk factors. You may choose to receive the flu shot (age 4 and older), the pneumonia vaccine or both. You should not get the flu shot if you have had a serious allergic reaction to eggs/previous flu shots, an active infection or illness such as fever or acute respiratory problems, and/or a history of Guillain-Barre Syndrome.
