4 Audiogram Patient s Audiogram Enter patient s audiogram using AC and/or BC thresholds, unmasked or masked or No Response (NR). If this audiogram is imported from NOAH, it cannot be changed. Entering Hearing Thresholds There are two ways to plot the patient's hearing thresholds: Plot the hearing thresholds directly into the audiogram by pointing and clicking with a mouse. Thresholds can be entered in 5 db increments in the graph. Enter hearing thresholds in the table below the audiogram using the keyboard. Thresholds can be entered in 1 db increments. To enter masked thresholds, click the M Button in combination with either AC or BC. To enter a No Response (NR), enter a threshold, then right-click the threshold and select No Response from the drop down list. Note: The prescription will be based on the BC thresholds. If bone conduction information is not entered, the fitting software uses a threshold value of 0 db HL. If some thresholds are missing, the fitting software will estimate a value based on the adjoining thresholds. Audiogram Buttons Button Functionality Delete Button Erases a curve of thresholds on the right and/or left side(s). To erase only one threshold, right-click and choose remove. BC BC Button Click to enter bone conduction (BC) thresholds. AC AC Button Click to enter air conduction (AC) thresholds. M Button Click to note masking for AC or BC thresholds.

5 Selection Sound Processor Select Sound Processor and press the Detect Button. When you connect to the sound processor you will have two options: Base fitting on pre-existing settings in the processor. Base fitting on Baha Fitting Software. Selection Once the sound processor is detected, click Connect to continue. Detect Button Once a sound processor has been detected, the system will set the processor parameters and optimize the fitting to target curves based on the Cochlear Baha Prescription (CBP) formula. Note: Baha 3 (BP100) and Baha 3 Power (BP110) Sound Processors cannot be programmed at the same time as a Baha 4 Sound Processor. Note: If the Baha 4 Sound Processor is detected using AirLink, you will be asked to specify which side the processor is on click OK. For a bilateral fitting, you can play a tone in each sound processor to determine the side.

6 Selection BC Select BC Select BC Select provides the opportunity to pre-set the sound processor to match your patient's unique system configuration. To obtain good first-fit outcomes, it is recommended that you first choose within these parameters before moving to the Fitting step: Client Adult, Child, Binaural On or Binaural Off. Bilateral should be selected for both bilateral Baha fittings as well as bimodal fittings. Indication Mixed/Conductive or SSD in Left and/or Right Ear. Connection Abutment (Baha Connect System) Softband Demo Magnet (Baha Attract System)* This graph is for conceptual visualization only and does not represent true gain changes in the processor. The sound processor can be muted or unmuted throughout the fitting procedure by clicking on this icon. * Pending FDA clearance.

7 Fitting Feedback Analyzer Tasks Within the Fitting Step Fitting has multiple tasks that enable precision programming of the sound processor: Feedback Analyzer Measure feedback margins for Baha 3 Power and Baha 4 only.
