Corpus Christi, TX September 17, :00am - 4:00pm - 6 CEU's James Lichon RPh, DDS, NCCM...Dr. Lichon lectures nationally and internationally on cardiovascular disease, medications, supplements, your immune system, food choices, and fitness. He has degrees in pharmacy and dentistry and a national certification in cholesterol management. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, International Atherosclerosis Society, National Lipid Association, American Pharmacist Association, and the American Heart Association. Dr. Lichon was in private practice and the past director of the Cholesterol Clinic at the VA Hospital. He is a heart attack and open-heart surgery survivor who is passionate about helping people live healthier lives. Dr. Lichon is also a published author, spinning instructor, and master gardener.

Part II - 1:00-4:00-3 CEUs...In spite of impressive technologic advances in the field of medicine, heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the United States. In our dental offices we are seeing more and more patients with heart disease. Greater than 1 in 3 of our adult patients have one or more types of heart disease and it is the most common medical condition that dental professionals confront. Through a concise and understandable review of cardiovascular disease, your immune system and more, you can make immediate powerful and practical practice changes that will improve your life and the life of your patient. I blend my own personal experience with cutting edge research to carry maximum relevance for the attendees.
