Session was started By Mr. M.A Husseni (President of HSAC) by parting the knowledge on how to interact with group of people or doctors and to educate them about Hemophilia. Then Mr. J.C Patel who is a Chartered accountant and also an Industrialist; who believes in doing SEVA (rendering services to people) ; who is a trainer at karai police academy and who also trains judges and professors on improving their skills --- conducted a 3 and half hour session with HSAC participants on self-motivation, positive approach towards life, which helps in developing our personality and gaining confidence; he also made us aware about - what are the pros and cons of positive and negative approach on our body and our immune systems. He also made us do several Yog exercises which can definitely help in leading a life with a positive approach. The session indeed was a much needed session for youth and women group participants.
6 Report of the activity on 8 th March Women s group of Hemophilia Society Ahmedabad Chapter with the help of Youth Group (Men Helping Women Concept) celebrated International Women s Day on 8th March 2017 (Wednesday) at SEVA Café, Ahmedabad in which 10 women & 7 youth members participated. Why SEVA café? Seva means service. When immersed in the heart of Seva, one finds a pathway to the Divine, and it s this connectedness to which we ultimately aspire. This Venue was chosen To Foster Women & Youth Group By enjoying the café and its peaceful atmosphere where a person gets lots of positivity at the time of leaving café. It s a Café where there are no prices on the menu and where the check reads Rs.0 with only this footnote: "Your meal was a gift from someone who came before you. To keep the chain of gifts alive, we invite you to pay it forward for those dine after you." It is driven by volunteers (Well -educated and wants to get self -satisfaction by serving people without expectations). Women s Group Along with Youth celebrated elegance of Womanhood by conducting a 1 hour session on meditation taken by Mrs. Zankhana Dave (Mother of PWH); also fruitful discussion was done on prophylaxis and various other issues faced by PWH; Amit Khuva filled the atmosphere with his comedy which made public and seva volunteers to get involved too. HSAC members also educated public at SEVA café about haemophilia which also turned out successful as we raised Rs.2000/- as donation there itself.
