3 ST ALOYSIUS CATHOLIC COLLEGE Parents & Friends Association SEEKING VOLUNTEERS 2014 P&F EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE The Parents and Friends Association (P&F) Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held next week on Wednesday 4 th December In accordance with the P&F Constitution, all committee positions are declared vacant in order to allow all P&F members (parents/guardians of students who attend our College) the opportunity to nominate to be members of the Executive Committee. P&F members then elect their chosen members to represent them on the following year s Committee. The P&F Executive Positions available are: President Secretary Vice-President Treasurer EVENT CO-ORDINATORS In addition to the Executive Committee, the P&F needs event co-ordinators and helpers. Many hands make light work and therefore the more people who offer to help at our events the less the load for everyone. Therefore please consider coordinating or assisting with any of the following events in Events for 2014 College and Parish Fair Co-ordinator Kingston Campus College Disco Welcome Morning Tea Grandparents and Special Persons Day Welcome BBQ Carols by Twilight 2014 Easter Raffle and Bun Drive P&F Newsletter Mothers and Fathers Day Stalls Catering Co-ordinator Board Meetings Entertainment Books Meeting Refreshments Sausage Sizzles (Term 1 and Term 3) Birthday Books Major Mid-Year Social Function College & Parish Fair Committee Member GRADE REPRESENTATIVES The P&F will also be seeking one volunteer from each Grade to act as a Grade Rep. This role involves representing other families in your year at P&F meetings, and providing a link between families in your grade to help everyone stay connected and informed. The Grade Rep is responsible for co-ordinating Class Contact Lists and, if requested, will keep families up to date with P&F News and Events. Grade Reps are also encouraged to organise a grade event e.g. dinner, in order to foster improved relationships for the families in their grade. To ensure the P&F continues in 2014, our College needs your support. Advice and assistance will be available for all new committee members and coordinators. If you would like to nominate for a position and/or would like further information regarding any of the above positions, please contact the P&F President Angela Cassidy ( atscassidy@bigpond.com) or the P&F Secretary - Joanne Brooks ( sandysamdog@yahoo.com.au) prior to the AGM with your details.
