1 Collaboration and Innovation Forum BUILDING BRIDGES Tuesday, 24th May 2016
2 Welcome Welcome We know that the system is complicated and difficult to navigate for people. We also know that some solutions lie in our ability to better work together. Knowing what others do, what is available, how to access, when to access, what our specific roles are and how they complement each other is vital to success. Service providers most often aren t aware of what services are available that they can access to benefit their clients. Eligibility criteria to access services can be hard to understand and the no wrong door ideology that should underpin our work, is often replaced by try over there or sorry, you don t fit. We are here to learn about collaboration, to learn what others do, to get a glimpse into the future world of the NDIS and PHN, to be inquisitive about new technology, to listen to real people tell their stories and learn from their journeys, to be inspired about being able to make a difference and to leave with a shared sense of purpose.
