2 ISE s Commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility As part of ISE s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program we strive to foster a long-term, deep relationship with Ronald McDonald House New York (House) that reflects ISE s values and culture, and provides ISE employees who are interested in participating in the CSR program with a diverse range of rewarding volunteer and participation opportunities. Deutsche Börse Group s Commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility Deutsche Börse Group (Group) has a longstanding commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), striving for sustainable development that takes into account the requirements of the economy, the environment and society in equal measure. Deutsche Börse has a dedicated CSR team that is responsible for a comprehensive, global program that spans four key areas: Economy, Employees, Environment and Corporate Citizenship. CSR is a priority for the Group at the Board level, and notably, their strategy relates to the entire Group and represents an authoritative framework for all locations. ISE participates in monthly calls/video conferences with Deutsche Börse Group s global CSR team in which representatives from Frankfurt, Luxembourg, London, Zurich, Chicago and New York discuss current CSR initiatives. Deutsche Börse Group has historically allocated a CSR budget for each of its locations. This budget was severely cut in 2013, and the majority of activities were made possible through the use of proceeds from ISE fundraisers. About Ronald McDonald House New York Ronald McDonald House New York provides a temporary home-away-from-home for pediatric cancer patients and their families who are seeking cancer treatment at 1 of 14 New York City partner hospitals. The House can accommodate 84 families every night and is the largest facility of its kind in the world. In its 35 year history, Ronald McDonald House New York has been home to over 25,000 families from all 50 states and over 70 different countries. In addition to providing housing for families from across the nation and all over the world, the House coordinates emotional and physical services, psychological care, wellness programs, tutors, music, art, transportation, activities for siblings, holiday and birthday parties and camaraderie for parents struggling with their child s cancer diagnosis Year in review Together with Ronald McDonald House New York, ISE participated in a number of events throughout Donation to the Help the House Fundraiser ISE participated in this year s Help the House Fundraiser. The Help the House was a night of fun and poker at a local bar to raise donations in support of the many services Ronald McDonald House New York provides to the children and families they serve daily. We continued our Jeans Program, and participants were entered into a raffle to win two tickets to the Help the House event in February. ISE raised over $4000 dollars to donate for this cause. Those who attended got to experience the RMH community and their dedicated volunteers.

3 Summer Jeans Program Funding For a donation of $60, ISE employees were able to wear jeans each Friday from June through August. We raised a staggering $6, Spring Issue of Around the House ISE was profiled in an article about our RMH Participation in the 2013 Spring Edition of the Around the House RMH Magazine. See Appendix A for this article. House Dinners Once a quarter ISE visited the House and provided dinner from Dinosaur BBQ, a House favorite, and hosted a cookie decorating activity with the kids. Several ISE employees and guests volunteered to serve dinner, clean up and decorate cookies with the children. 5 ISE Social Responsibility Days Twice this year ISE employees spent the afternoon at the RMH to offer assistance by cleaning living spaces including kitchens, guest rooms, play rooms and hallways of the House. It was a fantastic way for us to see how important it is for the health and wellbeing of these children to keep the house clean. Our teamwork was such a success they asked us to come back more frequently. 6 November Fun Run ISE participated in the 15 th Annual Charity Kids Fun Run, held on Saturday, November 9 th. This event gives children between the ages 4-7 the opportunity to raise funds for the House. ISE 6 children of ISE Employees participate and had a great time doing so. We raised $845 in donations for the RMH. ISE Thanksgiving Potluck Lunch Fund Raiser On November 20th, employees were invited to participate in a potluck by bringing in dishes to share. Employees donated $5 for a plate and we raised $250 in support of the CSR Program. Employee Holiday Wish List Drive For this year s Holiday Wish list drive we placed a large box in our reception area and invited employees to donate new toys and items for the families staying at the House during this holiday season. We filled the box and delivered it to the house mid-december. Holiday Activities As a holiday gift for families at the House, ISE donated $50 American Express Gift Cards. The AMEX Gift Cards gave parents the ability to purchase basic necessities and/or gifts for their children. ISE also donated funds to support the House Holiday Dinner served on December 25 th. Lastly, ISE made a holiday donation to the House on behalf of our members and participants of our 2013 customer service survey. ISE s CSR Program: Beyond 2013 ISE continues to nurture our relationship with the Ronald McDonald House New York through the aforementioned volunteer experiences and events. We are looking forward incorporating new activities and relationships into the CSR Program for Stay tuned
