1 Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre would like to thank the Durham Region Association of REALTORS for designating the proceeds of their Charity Golf Tournament to Hearth Place. Hearth Place was established in 1996 to provide community support for those diagnosed with cancer and their families by offering a variety of services including individual and group support, information, caregiver and grief support, practical assistance, wellness programs and support services for children and teens and those dealing with Pediatric cancer. In response to the increase in cancer diagnoses in Durham Region, Hearth Place will be building a new addition to the centre this summer. DRAR s Charity Golf Tournament will be sponsoring a new Cancer Support Program Room at Hearth Place. It will be a vital part of our end of life transitioning programs as well as our Pediatric Family Support Programs. For the thousands of people who have walked through our doors, they have found resources, shared their experiences with others who have a bone deep lived experience of the disease and learned effective ways to care for themselves and their families giving them the resilience to live life to its fullest. We want to support our members with legacy making, vigil planning, expressive arts, and funeral planning. We encourage people to truly live in this most sacred time of their lives and we want to support all those who care for them. This room will have video and lighting equipment to allow our members to create video messages to loved ones, perhaps read a bedtime story to their child for example. It will also be used as a group room for various different support groups. This event promises to be a community experience to remember and includes a daytime Golf Tournament with 144 golfers, BBQ patio buffet lunch, clubhouse dinner and amazing contests and games throughout the day! 4 Bag Sponsorship (1 Available) In lieu of purchasing a sponsorship for the DRAR Golf Tournament, the bag Sponsor will provide approximately 150 reusable conference bags for the tournament attendees (approximately 14 inches tall by 12 inches wide). The bags are encouraged to have the sponsoring company s logo and may contain one promotional item (i.e. a pen, a brochure, etc.) Putting Contest Sponsorship (1 Available) - $ A Prize for the Winner - Ownership of the Putting Contest green and a large customized sign displayed (18 x 24) - Option to present the winner of the Putting Contest with the prize during the Clubhouse Dinner - Quarter-Page Colour Advertisement in Tournament Program Golf Cart Sponsorship (1 Available) - $ (SOLD) - Your name and logo prominently displayed on all 72 Golf Carts in use throughout the Tournament
