The ISA Birmingham Section presents the 48 th Annual Fundamentals of Industrial Automation, Instrumentation and Control training course. The location will be in the offices of Revere Control Systems in Birmingham and is intended for technicians, engineers, sales personnel, I&C team members, production personnel, and anyone involved in process control work. 3 The ISA Birmingham Section has set up a facility visit for the April monthly meeting. This event will take place on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, and will feature the Idea Home as a preview of the Neighborhood of the Future as detailed by Alabama Power Company in their facility at 2045 Melton Road, Hoover, AL. An invitation will be sent out that will provide some specific details and information on how to get the location in Reynolds Landing. Also, we will be asking as many people as possible to meet at a location to carpool on to the IDEA HOME, due to restricted parking available. The tour will start at 3:30 PM, and will take approximately one hour to complete. This is a great opportunity to see how automation and controls will be employed in the future to enhance the living experience for everyone. Also, we will be taking reservations in order to provide an idea of how many participants will be taking advantage of the look into the future.
