FOR MAXIMUM NUTRIENT SUPPLY Highly stable, highly soluble Cu, Zn, Mn and Fe glycinates with excellent bioavailability. FOR MAXIMUM PROFITABILITY MAXFERM reduces anti-nutritive effects and significantly increases the usability of all nutrients in a ration. FOR MAXIMUM HEALTH The combination of medium-chain fatty acids (MCFA) on silicate media suppresses pathogenic gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria. FOR MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE Probiotics feed additives based on lactic acid bacteria for reliable performance in animal production. 4 PROVITA SUPPLEMENTS PROVITA SUPPLEMENTS 5

NUTRIENT SUPPLY MAXCHELAT These special trace element chelates are characterised by maximum stability, excellent solubility and maximum bioavailability. Fig. 1: MAXCHELAT vs. sulphate Fig. 2: Copper chelate Digestibility is significantly improved compared with inorganic trace element compounds such as sulphate, e.g. by 140% for manganese. MAXCHELAT OPTIMISES THE NUTRIENT SUPPLY TO ORGANS AND TISSUE Iron Manganese Zinc +40% +38% +140% Copper +35% INNOVATIVE PRODUCTION PROCESS Thanks to our completely new production process, MAXCHELAT is characterised by excellent solubility, an optimum concentration of trace elements, stable complexes and high bioavailability (see Fig. 1). The metal ions (Cu, Fe, Mn and Zn) in the MAXCHELAT trace elements are already precomplexed with the amino acid glycine and are therefore protected. This avoids complex formations and reactions with other ingredients in the feed. Low quantities of organic MAXCHELAT trace elements are just as effective as higher doses of inorganic compounds and boost the effects, reducing the amount of additives needed by as much as 50%. MAXCHELAT THE RESULT Maximum bioavailability Optimum supply of nutrients to organs and tissue Better claw quality and udder health Maximum zootechnical performance Reduced excretion of heavy metals 6 PROVITA SUPPLEMENTS PROVITA SUPPLEMENTS 7

RESULTS MAXCHELAT gets more performance from your feed. led use of these high-quality glycinates impacts positively on conformation and skeleton development, birth weights, milk yield and growth. MAXCHELAT HIGHER AVAILABILITY AND BETTER PERFORMANCE Fig. 1: Impact points growth performance fertility stress stability metabolic stability feed efficiency excretion of heavy metals immune status stability foundation regenerative capacity claw health feed intake Fig. 2: Better conformation A field study (dynamic group) not only resulted in better claws. Sow loss rates caused by claw and conformation problems were clearly reduced with controlled use of MAXCHELAT. Months 1 to 3 Months 4 to 6 Lame sows culled 37 % Lame sows reincorporated 63 % Lame sows culled 12 % Lame sows reincorporated 88 % FOR FEEDING SOWS Keeping sows in groups exerts great stress on claws and conformations. Used alongside management measures, MAXCHELAT (zinc, manganese and copper) specifically targets claw, joint, tendon and bone stability. Metallic trace elements also play a key role in various reproductive processes. FOR PIGLET REARING The correct use of trace elements has a major impact on the piglets cell protection and health status. Because piglets switch suddenly from highly digestible feed during the suckling phase to components with comparatively poor trace element digestibility, the highly digestible MAXCHELAT trace elements assume key functions. FOR PIG FATTENING MAXCHELAT also plays a beneficial role in pig fattening. The use of zinc and copper can be dramatically reduced without impacting on top performance. Another benefit: excretion and soil pollution are reduced. Fig. 3: Fattening concept with MAXCHELAT An adapted feed concept with MAXCHELAT reduced the copper content of fattening pig slurry by 40% and the zinc content by 60%. relative reduction (normal=0) % COPPER - 60 % ZINC 8 PROVITA SUPPLEMENTS PROVITA SUPPLEMENTS 9

AVAILABILITY MAXCHELAT Because of their digestive system, ruminants need different supplies of energy and protein from pigs and poultry. Organic trace elements are also required for key metabolic processes in cattle. Fig. 1: Impact points fertility performance metabolic stability nutrient efficiency rumen stability feed intake immune status udder health hoof health Impact on copper absorption when using inorganic copper. Sulphur and iron are the main antagonists for copper. Poorly soluble copper sulphides can develop in the rumen. Factors such as the macro-element sulphur, the interactions between trace elements and the components of the ration can all affect availability. MAXCHELAT organic trace elements significantly reduce negative interactions and prevent potential deficiencies. MAXCHELAT THE RESULT Reduces negative interactions between trace elements Reduces absolute additives by making trace elements more available Field studies confirm the positive impact of MAXCHELAT on fertility 10 PROVITA SUPPLEMENTS PROVITA SUPPLEMENTS 11

PROFITABILITY MAXFERM is a protein-rich feed with additive effects that reduces anti-nutritive effects and boosts general conversion of all nutrients. MAXFERM IMPROVES FEED CONVERSION MAXIMUM CONVERSION MAXFERM With feed costs rising, it is important to maximise efficiency. To remain profitable, you need to optimise feed conversion, health and feed intake. MAXFERMboosts digestion of NSP carbohydrates (non-starch polysaccharides), stabilises digestive processes and therefore improves the general availability of nutrients. It has proved to be outstandingly effective, especially in feed mixes containing high proportions of wheat, rye and brewers or distillers grains (NSP fractions) and in young animals with digestive tracts that are not yet fully developed. MAXFERM is a product derived from solid state fermentation with fungi. It is listed as a straight feed in the positive list for straight feedingstuffs (QS) and in the EU Feed Materials Register. MAXFERM can be added unrestricted to feed mixes for farm animals, bringing increased flexibility to ration design. MAXFERM THE RESULT Stabilised gastrointestinal system and optimal intestinal health Reduced anti-nutritive effects Improved digestion of NSP-containing components Excellent bioavailability of vitamins, amino acids, nucleotides and minerals Higher daily weight gains and better feed conversion More vitality and health Greater feed conversion efficiency for improved performance and better profitability More flexibility in ration design 12 PROVITA SUPPLEMENTS PROVITA SUPPLEMENTS 13

LESS FEED, MORE GROWTH MAXFERM The straight feed derived from solid state fermentation with fungi is proven to support the digestibility of NSP-rich (cell wall fraction) poultry and pig feed mixtures. This effect has also been verified in calves whose rumens are not yet fully developed. 9 FEED CONVERSION MAXACID The various combinations of acids regulate and inhibit the development of bacteria in the digestive tract, thereby improving performance and stabilising health. Many independent trials confirm the positive effect and performance of MAXACID. MAXACID HIGHER FEED INTAKE AND BETTER PERFORMANCE MAXACID HOW IT WORKS Suppresses pathogenic gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria (e.g. E. coli, clostridia, staphylococci, streptococci and salmonella) Penetrates the bacterial cell wall and reduces its function Dissociates in the bacterial cell fluid and disrupts the energetic steady-state and ph regulation of the cell Inhibits the production of specific bacterial enzymes and therefore prevents bacterial development to a considerable extent MAXACID THE RESULT Optimised nutrient supply Increased feed intake and more efficient feed conversion Support for a healthy intestinal flora and reliable health Improved feed hygiene Stable hygiene in pipe systems 16 PROVITA SUPPLEMENTS PROVITA SUPPLEMENTS 17
