By the end of this course, you will be able to identify and translate the best research into clinical practice, plan and implementan evidence-based ACL rehabilitation program, and confidently contribute to the shared decision making for return to sport after ACL injury, with in-depth understanding of all aspects that influence your athlete s chances of successful return to sport. Session will focus on: impairments, sensorimotor control, mental preparation, planning for situation after surgery: work, transport to clinic, etc. 4 1:30 PM-2:30 PM Lunch 4 2:30 PM-3:00 PM Principles of ACL rehabilitation - part 2: Goal setting, exercise prescription and progression for the acute phase rehabilitation. Session will focus on: impairments, open kinetic chain vs. closed kinetic chain exercises, beginning strength training, integrating mental/ motivational aspects in rehabilitation. 4 3:00 PM-3:30 PM Break 4 3:45 PM-4:45 PM Principles of ACL rehabilitation - part 2: Goal setting, exercise prescription and progression for the intermediate phase rehabilitation.
