7 Massachusetts The TBI Rams Alternative Process Measure: Number of letters of affirmation of concussion policies submitted 350 Massachusetts June 6-July 17 July 18-July 27 July 27-Aug 17 August 17-Sept 22 From , this team collected 265 letters of affirmation from schools; in , that number dipped to 203. The team set out to improve response rates and confirmation of current sports concussion policies. Through testing communication methods, they collected 332 letters of affirmation in 2016 Falls Prevention 7

13 Tennessee Youth Falls Prevention Team Process Measure 1: Percent of schools requiring coaches/parents/athletes to take an approved concussion training course TN reported on measure 1 in May and June 2016: % schools requiring coaches, parents, and athletes to take an approved concussion training course. They learned that 135 of 136 schools (99%) require a training course. With this learning, they are now refocusing and determining where they should place their efforts. Hence, the measure is no longer reported. Falls Prevention 13
