The aim of the study is to test the feasibility and acceptability of a cognitive behavioral therapy intervention delivered via telemedicine in positively impacting depression and HIV care adherence outcomes among HIV-infected women living in the rural South. Role: PI NSF (PI: S. Mennemeyer) 09/01/ /31/2015 A Simulation Model for Understanding Prevention and Treatment of Depression Among HIV+ Women. This project examines the allocation of resources to the treatment and prevention of HIV/AIDS and the role of screening and treatment for depression among women living with HIV in shaping this allocation. The Women's Interagency HIV Study (WIHS) is a multicenter longitudinal study funded by NIAID, NICHD, NIDA, and NCI to investigate the impact and progression of HIV disease in women.
