23 Other aspects with degrees Stripe: Everybdy wh can dcument a degree in anther martial art system might put a stripe n their right side f their belt with the prper clr. This until they have a similar r higher degree in Acud ryu than in the ther martial art. Star: Acud ryu degrees given hnrific is indicated with a star cnnected n the belt. This is t shw that this is an hnrary Acud degree and nt an examinatin degree. Persns with Higher Degrees like 8. dan, 9. dan r 10. dan (if given as a hnrary degree) d nt t use star since their belt are cnsidered as a nrmal degree. Brwn, 7 kyu: Everybdy wh decides nt t enter kyudan belt degrees shuld add a black stripe n the right and left side f the brwn belt fr every year they have been training acud ryu. If he chses t jin the Kyudan system and t take a nrmal exam he has t start at 5. kyu as everybdy else and wrk himself up. Hwever after six years with 7. kyu he might pass directly t the 1. dan exam. After ten years f active acud ryu practice he will autmatically be given a 1. dan Black belt with a star. As a symbl f dedicatin and knwledge. Fr every five years he will autmatically be given ne additinal dan; making a persn NEVER attending an acud examinatin after 25 years f ACTIVE training have a 3. dan in Acud ryu with a star. The trainer is respnsible fr this mechanism. Nte: This is hnrary degree and nt examinatin degree!.

24 Hnrary degrees r Additinal rice in Dan degrees It is nt cmmn t give hnrary degrees in Acud ryu, but it might be given t persns that have dne smething special fr the develpment f Acud ryu lcally r glbally. 8. -, 9. and 10. dan is ONLY given in very special cases. Lwer degrees (1. t 5. dan) might be given. Hnrary degrees might be given when: Smething special happens as fr example a special event, high age r special abilities. Nrmally it is given 1. Dan t persns with n Acud ryu knwledge Persns in the Acud ryu system nrmally get 3. Dan r 5. Dan Extrardinary events qualify fr 8. Dan, 9. Dan and 10. Dan. Additinal rise in dan might be given when: A persn fund a natinal federatin (ne dan extra). If tw persns fund tgether bth will get the degree. Persns that lift Acud ryu in special ways get ne additinal dan. Trainers that have trained five persns up t extra dan. Anther additinal dan after ten, twenty and furth 1. dans. Persns that have filled sme specific ther requirements. This rise is a nrmal degree and is nt an hnrary degree. It is WAA and the funder that decides additinal dan degrees. Please infrm WAA abut persns that might qualify fr additinal dan rise. Nte: It is nt a traditin t give additinal dans t trainers fr students presenting higher degrees than 1. dan, t lder practitiners f Acud ryu r persns that d an hnrable jb utside Acud ryu. 25 Vid examinatins All persns cnducting examinatins withut permissin will be expulsed frm WAA and stripped frm all previus fficial distinctins in Acud ryu; meaning a 3 Dan in Acud ryu will lse his 3 dan by cnducting an unlawful examinatin. Persns that knwingly enters a vid examinatin withut infrming WAA r Funder will be expulsed frm WAA and stripped frm all fficial distinctins in Acud ryu; meaning if a 2. Kyu will lse his 2.
