1 INTERNATIONAL HOCKEY FEDERATION POLICIES AND PROCEDURES Coe of Conuct Dte of Issue: My PURPOSE, SCOPE AND APPLICATION 1.1 The Interntionl Hockey Feertion (FIH) is recognise y the Interntionl Olympic Committee s the sole ultimte governing oy for the sport of Hockey throughout the worl n the Coe of Conuct is opte n implemente s prt of the FIH s continuing efforts to preserve the integrity of the sport of hockey. 1.2 The Coe of Conuct ims to promote the highest stnr of ehviour n conuct in the ministrtion, coching n plying of hockey n is n effective mens to eter ny Prticipnt from conucting themselves improperly oth on n off the fiel-of-ply or in mnner tht is contrry to the spirit of hockey. 1.3 Unless otherwise inicte, wors in itlicise text in the Coe of Conuct re efine terms n their efinitions re set out in Article All Prticipnts re utomticlly oun y n require to comply with ll of the provisions of the Coe of Conuct. Accoringly, y their prticiption in Mtch or n Interntionl Event, such Prticipnt shll e eeme to hve gree tht it is their personl responsiility to fmilirise themselves with ll of the requirements of the Coe of Conuct, incluing wht conuct constitutes n offence uner the Coe of Conuct. 1.5 The Ntionl Assocition of ech prticipting tem is responsile for informing n eucting Prticipnts out the Coe of Conuct. Ntionl Associtions shll shre liility with Prticipnts shoul reches of the Coe of Conuct occur. 1.6 All Prticipnts re oun y the Coe of Conuct t ll times n shll continue to e oun y n require to comply with the Coe of Conuct until they hve not prticipte in n Interntionl Event uring the Applicility Perio. During the Applicility Perio, the FIH shll hve jurisiction over ll Prticipnts uner the Coe of Conuct. 1.7 The Technicl Delegte shll hve jurisiction to el with reches of the Coe of Conuct uring the tournment (unless the Technicl Delegte is in rech, in which cse, the mtter will e elt with y the FIH Chief Executive Officer). After the Interntionl Event hs een complete n t ll other times, ny reches of the Coe of Conuct shll e elt with y the FIH Chief Executive Officer, who my refer mtters to the FIH Disciplinry Commissioner for ecision, if pproprite. It my e mene from time to time y the FIH. 2: CODE OF CONDUCT OFFENCES 2.1 Generl Behviour c Prticipnts shll comply t ll times with the FIH Sttutes n Generl Regultions, Rules of Hockey, FIH Tournment Regultions, FIH Anti-Doping Rules, FIH Anti-Corruption Regultions, the Olympic Movement Coe on the Prevention of the Mnipultion of Competitions, FIH Mei Policy, FIH Coe of Conuct n ny other rules n regultions tht my come into force from time to time. Prticipnts shll lwys use their est efforts uring Mtch when competing in n Interntionl Event Prticipnts shll conuct themselves firly, properly n in n cceptle mnner on n off the fiel of ply, incluing insie or roun the hockey venue n ccommotion. Prticipnts shll not ct (or fil to ct) in ny wy which my hrm the interests n reputtion of the FIH, Continentl Feertion or Ntionl Assocition or ring Hockey into isrepute. Note: This inclues: (i) excessively uile or repetitious swering; n (ii) oscene gestures which re not irecte t nother person, such s swering in frustrtion t one s own poor ply or misfortune. Using lnguge or gesture(s) tht is seriously oscene, seriously offensive or hve seriously insulting nture to nother Prticipnt or ny other thir person. Note: It is cknowlege tht there will e verl exchnges etween Plyers in the course of ply. Rther thn seeking to eliminte these exchnges entirely, Umpires or technicl officils will e require to report such conuct tht flls elow n cceptle stnr. c Serious pulic criticism of, or inpproprite pulic comment in reltion to n incient occurring in n Interntionl Mtch or ny Prticipnt or tem prticipting in ny Interntionl Mtch or FIH, generlly, irrespective of when such criticism or inpproprite comment is me. Any ttempt to mnipulte ny Mtch Interntionl Event for inpproprite strtegic or tcticl resons. Note: This is intene to prevent the mnipultion of Mtches for inpproprite strtegic or tcticl resons (such s when tem eliertely loses pool Mtch in n Interntionl Event in orer to ffect the stnings of other tems in tht event). It is not intene to cover ny corrupt or fruulent cts (incluing ny use of insie informtion n/or relte etting ctivity). Such conuct is prohiite uner the FIH Anti-Corruption Regultions n the Olympic Movement Coe on the Prevention of the Mnipultion of Competitions n must e elt with ccoring to the proceures set out therein. DEFINITIONS Applicility Perio For the purpose of this Coe of Conuct, this is efine s perio of 3 months fter the lst Interntionl Event tht Prticipnt hs tken prt in. Coe of Conuct This Coe of Conuct, s mene from time to time. Continentl Feertion/Ntionl Assocition A continentl or ntionl entity which is memer of or is recognise y the FIH s the entity governing the sport of hockey in continent/country. Disciplinry Commissioner The Disciplinry Commissioner ppointe in ccornce with Article 11.1 of the FIH Sttutes Effective Dte As efine in Article 1.9 Executive Bor. The Executive Bor of the FIH. Event Director The person ppointe y the FIH from time to time to ct in tht role, or his / her esignee. FIH The Interntionl Hockey Feertion. FIH Chief Executive Officer The person ppointe y the FIH from time to time to ct in tht role, or his / her esignee. Pge 5

All FIH tournment officils incluing the FIH Representtives, FIH stff, Technicl Delegte, Technicl Officers, Umpires Mngers, Meicl Officers, Mei Officers, Juges, Umpires n ny other hoc officils ppointe y the FIH or the orgnising committee.
