Before becoming executive director of the Louisiana Asphalt Pavement Association in 2015, Erich served from in the Louisiana House of Representatives. In his first term as State Representative, he served as the chairman of the Committee on Labor and Industrial Relations. In his second-term he served as the chairman of the Committee on Commerce. Erich Ponti Earlier, in 1994, Erich started Accent Construction Services, Inc. which specialized in residential and commercial construction for 21 years. When he is not working, he enjoys traveling and saltwater fishing with his wife Keesha.
