Besides, there will be monitoring, evaluation and discussion on future strategic planning of the health research practices of the EU and China. Specifically, to initiate bilateral discussions on common interests on developing collaborations on infectious diseases, including generation of joint proposals to submit to the EU 7 th program; exchange information on control policies of infectious diseases; and to promote joint ventures on small enterprises between China and EU. 1
