S P E A K E R Keynote Speaker_Neobiotech Inventor Dr. Heo, Young Ku Dr.

He received his Ph.D. degree in medical science/dentistry in 2004, and had worked as a full-time. professor at the Catholic University, Medical School, Department of Dentistry, Seoul Korea.

He has developed many kinds of innovative devices related to implant dentistry such as sinus crestal and lateral approach kits, fixture remover, screw remover, customized titanium membrane,

5 S P E A K E R Keynote Speaker_Neobiotech Inventor Dr. Heo, Young Ku Dr. Young-Ku Heo completed his advanced graduate study in prosthodontics and received his degree of master of science in dentistry in 1997 at the Boston university, School of Dental Medicine. He received his Ph.D. degree in medical science/dentistry in 2004, and had worked as a full-time. professor at the Catholic University, Medical School, Department of Dentistry, Seoul Korea. He has been an adjunctive assistant clinical professor, center for implantology, Boston University and has lectured intensively on implant dentistry nationally and internationaly. He has developed many kinds of innovative devices related to implant dentistry such as sinus crestal and lateral approach kits, fixture remover, screw remover, customized titanium membrane, autogenous chip bone maker etc. And also he maintains a private practice limited to prosthodontics and implantology and esthetic dentistry in Seoul Korea. Keynote Speaker Prof. Hom-Lay Wang Dr. Hom-Lay Wang, Professor and Director of Graduate Periodontics at the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry, received his BDS from Taipei Medical College, Taipei, Taiwan, and his DDS, MSD from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio. He is the author or co-author of 12 book chapters/invited reviews and more than 100 scientific articles and multiple abstracts. Dr. Wang is an active member of numerous dental societies, including the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, and the American Association for Dental Research. He is a Vice President of the Midwest Society of Periodontology and has served as a Secretary, a member of its Executive Council, program chair, and other advisory positions. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a Fellow and a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, a Fellow of American College of Dentists, and is appointed as a visiting professor at Taipei Medical University, Taiwan and as an international vice president as well as a member of Board Directors for the ICOI. Dr. Wang s research focuses on the utilization of absorbable collagen membrane.
