6 For the press... Since the circulation of the last bulletin the following items have been circulated to the press:- The adverts opposite will appear in the News Guardian promoting the St Patricks Day Tea Dance. We are also running our advert for money off vouchers at Jarretts Cafe Cartes in North Shields and Wallsend Customer First Centres. A press release has also been circulated encouraging members to join the Non- Religious Discussion Group. The BBC also got in touch twice last week. The first looking for a case study to illustrate the current level of unmet need amongst the elderly population living at home in England, we were unable to respond to this request. The second time they were asking if they could interview older people regarding the two sides of ageing, the healthy and active but also the lonely and isolated. The Wellbeing Centres passed on details of those who would be willing to be interviewed which were then passed on to the BBC. No further action has been taken to our knowledge. And Finally Age UK North Tyneside is a charitable organisation For those staff who do not have access to , can Managers please ensure that they have the opportunity of seeing the weekly bulletin updates. Thank you. UNTIL NEXT TIME.....
