The annual Conference is the Caribbean s premier opportunity for the region s Dermatologists to gather to discuss the latest scientific and clinical advances in their field. This annual meeting offers a unique opportunity to connect with leading Caribbean figures in the field of Dermatology. This Prospectus outlines the various levels of sponsorship and the benefits associated with each level, as well as opportunities to promote your brand and provide critical information to attendees. 3 About the CDA Conference CONFERENCE PROFILE The Caribbean Dermatology Association (CDA) was started in 1992 by a group of mainly English speaking Dermatologists, with the first meeting of the Caribbean Dermatology Conference taking place in Jamaica. Since then, the annual Caribbean Dermatology Conference has been held in a different member territory each year. The Conference is the premier opportunity for the Caribbean s Dermatologists to be informed, educated and updated on the latest scientific, surgical and clinical developments in the diagnosis, treatment and management of the dermatology patient in the Caribbean. While the CDA membership now includes doctors from the Dutch speaking Caribbean, the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States of America, and the US Virgin Islands, the annual Conferences attract dermatologists, general practitioners, nurses and medical students from throughout the Caribbean region, and internationally. EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES At the completion of this Conference, participants should: 1. Be able to identify global developments that can positively impact the diagnosis, treatment and management of dermatological diseases and conditions within the Caribbean region. 2. Have a better understanding of diagnostic and management approaches to challenging cases through the presentation and discussion of specific clinical cases. 3. Be aware of recently published research, relevant clinical trials and publications which hold the potential to assist in the optimization of dermatological disease management. 4. Be prepared to apply the knowledge gained to decisions regarding the diagnosis, management and treatment of patients in the Caribbean. It is also an opportunity for attendees to nurture lasting collegial relationships through social engagement. The company that chooses to sponsor this event will be given the opportunity to brand the shuttle bus, as well as the opportunity to place branding at the lunch venue. The sponsoring company will receive six (6) complimentary Tour tickets for staff and special invitees. Advertisement in the Conference Magazine Please complete an Advertisement Contract, should you wish to have an advertisement printed in the 2018 Conference Magazine. Each participant receives a copy of the Conference Magazine. 8 Sponsorship and Exhibit Policies SPONSORSHIP CONTRACT All Sponsors and Exhibitors should complete the Sponsorship/Exhibit Contract and return to the CDA Secretariat with payment by Thursday May 31, Signing of the Sponsorship/Exhibit Contract represents agreement that all policies, costs and benefits outlined in this Prospectus constitute an integral and binding part of the Sponsorship/Exhibit agreement. It is the responsibility of the sponsoring company to ensure that all individuals staffing its booth are aware of the rules and regulations governing their participation in the Caribbean Dermatology Conference. NO SALE TRANSACTIONS It is the CDA Policy that NO sale of merchandise is allowed within the Exhibit Hall or Conference Areas. ADVERTISING ARTWORK High-resolution print-ready advertising artwork in JPEG format should be submitted by Friday September 28, To ensure the best possible representation of your brand, please contact the CDA Secretariat if you have any questions about advertising format or resolution. The dimensions of the full page advertisement are 8½ x 11 in portrait orientation The dimensions of the half page advertisement are 8½ x 5½ in landscape orientation BANNERS AND SIGNAGE Signage in the exhibit area is only allowed within a Sponsor s/exhibitor s designated exhibit space. There may be restrictions placed by the Conference venue on the methods used to hang banners. If banner hanging is permitted, the venue may charge a fee for the hanging of banners. In order for Banners/Free-standing signs to be placed in the Conference Room (Platinum Sponsors only), these must be received on-site by the CDA Secretariat by 10am on Wednesday November 7, PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL FOR THE CONFERENCE BAG (Platinum Sponsors only) These must be submitted on-site to the CDA Secretariat by 12 noon on Wednesday October 31, There is no guarantee that items received after this time will be included in the Conference bags. REGISTRATION Exhibiting companies must complete an Exhibit Staff Registration Summary Form indicating the persons who will be utilizing the registration passes entitled to the participating company. This form should be signed by an authorized representative of the participating company and submitted by Friday October 19, Each staff member MUST complete an online registration form using the code provided in your exhibitor briefing . Registration badges are issued only to the exhibit staff named in the Registration Summary Form AND have individually completed the online registration form. Exhibitor Registration includes access to Exhibit Area, Conference Scientific/Clinical Sessions, General Practitioner s Meeting and Reception, Welcome Reception, Lunch and Coffee Breaks. Conference Dinner tickets and Tour tickets will be available for purchase. Sharing of single staff registrations among multiple staff members will not be allowed. Should a participating company wish to have more staff attend than those covered by their selected sponsorship level, the additional staff members must be registered at the applicable Conference Registration rate. Exhibit registration policies are designed to optimize the ratio of industry representatives to medical professionals, and allow for quality interactions between attendees and industry. As such, a maximum of 2 additional registrations will be allowed.
