Germ Rotary Serving Humanity 23 AUGUST 2016 Issue # 7 August is Rotary Membership & Extension month Last week we had a most interesting talk by Douglas Anderson, son of Rtn Gillian who shared with us the effects of Impact craters in South Africa. Using a slide show he took us through the various sites in the world some as yet not even uncovered as they lie deep under the snow where craters have been formed. Vredefort dome is our oldest and most famous in South Africa. A scary thought is that as there has not been any very large objects falling from the sky for a long time perhaps the next one is imminent!!
