7 Client Success Story One story that brings me joy is about a client of ours who has repeatedly told me how grateful they are for all of the help they have received from livesafe Resources. They have been able to take advantage of several programs within the organization (counseling, abuse in later life, and housing) and they consistently are telling me thank you. If livesafe Resources was not here, there would be a very large gap in several arenas. Currently there are no organizations that offer free, unlimited counseling to the domestic violence and sexual assault populations. Without livesafe Resources, it would be even more difficult for men, women, and children trying to find shelter when leaving an abusive partner. If our shelter and housing programs were no longer in existence, people in our community dealing with abusive partners would find it even more difficult to leave their situation and they may just remain with their abuser. - livesafe Staff Member

8 Client Success Story Everyone at livesafe Resources is fantastic. I am so glad I came here instead of going to the emergency room (for a sexual assault forensic exam). Everyone was so nice and there was plenty of privacy for me. They took great care of me. When my advocate called me back later to check on me, she offered long-term counseling and a three-month class for victims of sexual assault. Attending this class once a week has made a world of difference for me. My counselor is so helpful and I don t even have to worry about a bill coming in the mail. - livesafe Resources client
