1 2015 Committee Goals and Objectives Communications Committee Conference a. Solicit member testimonials for the website at Winter & Summer Conferences. b. Expand networking beyond electronic by maintaining a presence at Winter & Summer Conferences. c. Review NEW conference app before it goes live. d. Review communications surrounding the events. e. Promote the app through enews. Social Media a. Identify key audiences and tactics to reach those audiences. b. Develop a communications survey about communications vehicles (i.e., website, eblasts, enews, other social media. Ask about preferred social media platforms. Determine what we can do to make social medial more user-friendly & relevant. Provide incentives to encourage participation. c. Encourage Executive Committee & Committee chairs to post messages on the MMGMA LinkedIn page. Monthly enews a. Use beat assignments to assist committees in sharing information. b. Have information appear first in enews instead of individual eblasts whenever possible. Need to reduce the number of eblasts sent to members. 2 Page 2 of 5 Exhibitor and Sponsorship Committee Discuss/Develop Strategy to promote ongoing visibility of Business Partners/Affiliate Members throughout the year. a. Collaborate with Communications Committee on development of ways to promote business partners throughout the year. b. Solicit business partners on thoughts and ideas for ongoing visibility over course of the year. Coordinate with Payer Relations Committee on 2015 Day with the Payers. a. Determine methodology for prioritizing exhibitors (may run out of space and have to make decisions based on past attendance versus sponsorship level, etc). b. Verify ability to add additional vendor space at Earle Brown, if needed. Continued Committee Development a. Continue with communication protocol based on event (i.e., Winter Conference, Summer Conference, Day with the Payers) to include , phone meetings and face-to-face meetings as need is determined by Committee Chair. b. Review concept of adding additional sponsorship bundles (i.e., gift cards for more than one event, etc.), develop and implement, if this makes sense. Government Affairs Committee Work with others to determine if the Fair Contracting laws are being followed. a. Engage the PRC, MMA and others b. Create strategies to bring payers into compliance c. Consider additional legislative remedies d. Determine how best to ensure the laws are being administered and enforced for the good of MMGMA members Educate MMGMA members and legislators of the impact of the ACA on clinics. a. Focus on the impact of the MNSure exchange b. Encourage high rates of insured Minnesotans c. Mitigate the negative impacts of high deductible insurance Enhance our communications with the entire MMGMA membership to mobilize members.

3 Page 3 of 5 a. Have articles in every MMGMA newsletter, possibly with embedded links to longer articles put on the MMGMA GAC website b. Work with the Communications Committee and Synergos to have more GAC critical information on the website s home page c. Use letter templates and e-blasts to reach MMGMA members and encourage letters to their legislators d. Work with MMGMA and Synergos to collect and manage business and home addresses for MMGMA members so that members can be appropriately linked to their legislators in their voting (home) district. e. Work with the membership committee and Synergos to ensure the mailing lists for MMGMA members are kept up to date. f. Focus on growing Key Contacts in areas where the legislative leadership for key committees are from. g. Host a minimum of 10 site visits / engagements with legislators in the next year. h. Host 1 Eggs & Issues, probably in January. Membership Committee Increase Affiliate Membership (by 10% or 15 members) LEAD: Mark Hansen a. LinkedIn potential affiliates asked to join MMGMA (Communications Committee). b. Prospects from survey 25 individuals to follow-up c. Next Step: Mark is planning a meeting of his team for next week to make personal connections with the prospects. Increase Regular Membership (by 5% or 18 Members) a. Institute multi-year (three) membership renewal opportunity to achieve additional $50 discount at conference within 12 months of renewal. Synergos proposal to Executive Committee. Synergos IT to make technical changes. b. LinkedIn: potential affiliates asked to join MMGMA (LEAD: Communications Committee). Communication to members: (a) Flyer at Winter Conference (b) Website (c) Eblast update c. Review all MN clinics with filter of MMGMA membership and connect with all non-member clinics. Identify MN Clinics and crosswalk with MMGMA clinic filter. d. Enlist other committees to assist with recruitment. Develop Membership Committee liaison to all MMGMA committees. e. Ask for time on winter conference to share membership data/trend and ask for help f. Annual membership list clean up Increase Student Membership (by 5 Members) LEAD: Barb Klick

Review & monitor forecast with existing members at monthly meetings. Goal #5: Member Retention a. Continue monthly personal contacts with expiring/expired members. Monitor effectiveness of calls via measurement. b. Conduct member satisfaction survey and use information accordingly. Work with Communications Committee. c. Increase communications to remind members of value proposition. d. New member breakfast enlist current members to help deliver value add presentation. Identify MMGMA speakers for breakfast. MMA Liaison Committee Finalize guiding principles and work plan with MMA. Coordinate educational offerings. a. Coordination with MMGMA Education Committee will be pursued to ensure a comprehensive effort occurs. Identify a data exchange which enhances the market intelligence of both organizations. Identify ways MMGMA and MMA can help the physicians we serve. Payer Relations Committee ICD-10 a. Provide information and updates to membership on ICD-10 b. Monthly update/reminder in the MMGMA newsletter c. Winter Conference, Summer Conference and the 2015 DWP Day with the Payers

5 Page 5 of 5 a. Continue to host the annual Day with the Payers b. Broaden assignments to the committee, if possible c. Review format and agenda to ensure continued interest d. Add NGS and DOL as presenters Payer Meetings/Relationship with Payers a. Continue annual meetings with the Payers and share information back with members b. Determine standard agenda items c. Schedule meetings so that the Chair and Chair-Elect can attend d. Provide feedback to Members through MMGMA newsletter and the website e. Continue Payer Survey and provide feedback to payers and Membership MN Sure a. Become educated on MN Sure and the impact on provider and member groups b. Track issues related to payment challenges Goal #5: Communication with Membership a. Utilize MMGMA newsletter and tweeting to share information b. Discuss Tweeting; who owns this and how do we use c. Include use of website; ie post items that are relevant Goal #6: Committee Member Participation a. Committee member to be involved and attend 75% of meetings b. Determine additional PRC activities that could be shared with the members
