4 Meet our Distinguished Faculty Pamela Peeke, MD Dr. Pamela Peeke is an internationally renowned physician and expert in the field of metabolism. She is a Pew Foundation Scholar in Nutrition and Metabolism, Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Maryland and Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Peeke is Senior Science Advisor to Elements Behavioral Health. Scott Crow, MD Dr. Crow is Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Minnesota and Director of Research at the Emily Program. His research interests include causes, course and psychotherapeutic and pharmacologic treatment of eating disorders and obesity. Anne Kearney Cooke, PhD New York Times Bestselling author, psychologist and researcher who specializes in issues related to women s health and wellness. She was named a Distinguished Scholar at the Partnership for Gender Specific Medicine at Columbia University for the development of the Helping Girls Become Strong Woman project. She was the recipient of the National Eating Disorders Association 2012 Craig Johnson Award for Clinical Practice and Training. Ralph Carson, PhD, RD, LD Executive Director of FitRx in Brentwood, TN and clinical consultant to PineGrove Behavioral Health and Addiction Treatment Center in Hattiesburg, MS. He is an active member on the board of the IAEDP and BEDA. He has worked in the field of eating disorders and addictions for over 35 years and is the author of the The Healing Power of Fruit and the recently published The Brain Fix: What s the Matter with Your Gray Matter. Scott Moseman, MD Has worked with the Laureate Eating Disorders Program since completing his child psychiatry training in 2004, and he currently serves as medical director of the program. He has spoken throughout the country on topics related to child psychiatry, and he has specific interests in eating, mood and anxiety disorders. Wendy Oliver-Pyatt, MD, FAED, CEDS Dr. Wendy Oliver-Pyatt, MD, FAED, CEDS, Co-Founder of Oliver-Pyatt Centers, is a psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience. She co-authored the AED Guidelines for Childhood Obesity Prevention, and Fed-Up. She serves on Boards of IAEDP and BEDA and has received Senatorial Recognition. Jon Robison, Ph.D, MS Holds a doctorate in health education/exercise physiology and a master of science in human nutrition from Michigan State University where he has co-taught an Eating Disorder and Prevention course for the past 20 years. Karen was instrumental in developing the first women s gender specific sexual disorders program in the US. Kimberli McCallum, MD, CEDS, FAPA Dr. McCallum has co-developed several specialized, interdisciplinary eating disorders treatment units, including inpatient, residential, partial hospital, and intensive outpatient programs.
