1 1 THE WELCOME MAT September 2014 THE NEWCOMERS GENERAL MEETING WILL BE ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9 at 7:00pm for a 7:30pm start, at the West Vancouver Yacht Club. Please remember to wear your name tag! GENERAL MEETING It is on the 1 st Tuesday evening of each month at the West Vancouver Yacht Club, except for September s meeting. We discuss club business, we usually have a speaker, we sign up for activities and we chat with other members. Wine can be purchased, and there are snacks provided. We are a group of varying abilities, meeting in members homes monthly on the 3rd Friday, and we look forward to welcoming all interested bridge players on Friday, September 19th at 7pm. Partners are optional, and need not be spouses or even Newcomer members; alternatively just sign up as a singleton! 4 PUB NIGHT & CASUAL DINNER OUT Giselle Portenier Each month we switch between a Pub Night (partners welcome) and a Ladies Only Casual Dinner Out. Our first ladies night out promises to be spectacular!
