IFRPD International Industry Forum: Latest Developments in Food Extrusion Thailand 26 & 27 September INVITATION TO SPONSORS: Suppliers of extrusion equipment, and related Equipment/services, are invited to provide sponsorship for an Industry Forum on Latest Developments in Food Extrusion hosted at the Institute of Food Research and Product Development (IFRPD), Kasetsart University, Thailand. The event is to be held in conjunction with the 50 th Anniversary Celebrations of the IFRPD, and is expected to attract 60 to 100 participants specifically interested in extrusion, plus exposure to hundreds more attending the main celebratory conference running in parallel. Two levels of Sponsorship are offered: Major sponsors (cost up to EUR2500 initially EUR1500, up to an additional EUR1000 if required to cover costs). Four only available. A one-hour timeslot to present information under a session topic of their choice. Their own 3 m x 3 m display booth. Use of a private meeting room for 50% of the time of the event Recognition on webpage, programs etc as major sponsors Up to three registrations for their staff attending the Forum. Minor sponsors (cost EUR750). A 15 to 20 min timeslot to present information about their products Shared space to place brochures etc in a display area. 3 DETAILED INFORMATION Background This event is being organised by the Institute of Food Research & Product Development (IFRPD) with the support of Australian co-operators Gordon Young of Food Industry Engineering and Dennis Forte of Dennis Forte & Associates. This initiative follows a history of cooperation between the above parties, with Dennis Forte and Gordon Young presenting extrusion training courses at IFRPD annually since One of the areas of strength of IFRPD is extrusion processing, with a number of extruders single and twin screw, and collet extruder in the IFRPD pilot plant. They regularly produce a range of extruded products including textured vegetable protein (TVP), and expanded breakfast cereals. With IFRPD celebrating 50 years in food research in 2018, it was agreed to hold an international Industry Forum on Latest Developments in Food Extrusion in conjunction with anniversary celebrations, taking advantage of the international visitors and focus to further highlight this area of technology. Proposed Program The extrusion program would run in parallel with the IFRPD (Institute of Food Research & Product Development) International Seminar on Future Food for Well-Being, as part of their anniversary celebrations (copy of that planned program is attached). Proposed Sponsorship Arrangement Major Sponsors: Must agree to commit up to EUR2500 (97,000 Baht) to effectively underwrite the program. Initially EUR1500 (or equivalent) must be paid. The organisers (IFPRD) can call on additional payment of up to EUR1000 in the event of funding shortfall. For this support, major sponsors receive: A one-hour timeslot to present information under a session topic of their choice. This is expected to include information on commercial offerings available from the sponsor, but will preferably focus on latest developments incorporated into their equipment, or areas under development for future implementation Their own 3 m x 3 m display booth. These will be located in the main entry area to the building, on the ground floor. That is, participants in both the Extrusion and Food for Well-Being programs (as well as normal staff/visitors) will pass through that area. Use of a private meeting room for 50% of the time of the event Recognition on webpage, programs etc as major sponsors Up to three registrations for their staff attending the Forum.

5 Minor sponsors: To contribute EUR750 (29,000 Baht) each. For this support, minor sponsors receive: A 15 to 20 min timeslot to present information about their products Shared space to place brochures etc in the display area.
