3 RECOVERY AND PERSON-CENTERED CARE: EMPOWERMENT, COLLABORATION, AND INTEGRATION Wesley E. The great disparity in health status and life expectancy, between those with behavioral health issues and the general population, makes this aspect of recovery-oriented care ever more critical.
