2 OUR FOUNDER & CEO PETER SCHORR Founder and CEO Peter Schorr created Retreat at Lancaster County as the premier drug and alcohol rehabilitation treatment center on the East Coast. With over 30 years as both a clinician and manager of health care facilities, Peter developed innovative programs to treat those suffering from the disease of addiction. His vision was to create a rehabilitation treatment center in a peaceful and serene setting for patients to heal, learn and prepare for lifelong sobriety.

3 OUR MISSION STATEMENT To provide a compassionate and spiritual environment where those suffering from the disease of addiction can begin the journey to recovery by providing enlightenment and education to the individual and their families.

4 HISTORY OF RETREAT In July 2011, local newspapers and websites were excited about the rise of a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center about to open on a hillside in Ephrata. August 15 th, 2011 stands as the culmination of a dream for Peter Schorr. During his 30 years of service to those suffering from addiction, his vision of a high end, luxury inpatient substance abuse treatment center was realized. Retreat at Lancaster County was founded to provide a treatment experience in a peaceful, serene, and therapeutic setting. Retreat is now comprised of dedicated developers and providers, a network of premier addiction treatment centers, and dedicated team members who are unified in carrying out our mission. In four years, Retreat has grown from a single premier addiction treatment center in a small Pennsylvania town into the very definition of compassionate care for the entire east coast.

6 ADMISSIONS TRANSPORTATION & INSURANCE Admissions: We have an onsite team of Admission Coordinators who accept patients 24/7, 365 days a year. Transportation: We offer courtesy transportation within a 4 hour radius of our facility with drivers who are trained in both Narcan and First Aid. Insurance: We accept most major insurances.

7 CLINICAL PROGRAMMING Instead of relying on a one-size-fits-all approach, Retreat focuses on the individual. We provide medically monitored detoxification, individual therapy sessions, group therapy, medication management, holistic therapies such as Music, Art & Recreation. Our specialized programs offer dynamic, comprehensive treatment to a specific group based on common issues or traits that patients share.

8 MEDICAL SERVICES Retreat has extensive medical staff consisting of full time and part time physicians and nurse practitioners. Physicians are on site 7 days per week with a combined 50+ years of experience in Behavioral Health, specifically drug and alcohol detoxification and management. In addition to Behavioral Health they have expertise in Internal Medicine, Primary Care, Pulmonology, and Obstetrics and Gynecology. Our comprehensive teams are managed by seasoned medical directors who perform rounds fulltime at the facilities. Our combined and diverse expertise maximizes our ability to provide quality patient care and education.
