5 93.7% Goes to the United Way Partner Agencies United Way of Monroe County: Total Expenses and Program Support = $303,183 Contributions and Interest=$256,655 Audited Results for /1/15 to 12/31/15 United Way of Monroe County works to provide solutions for public and private issues that our community faces. We offer the community what no other entity, organization, governmental body, or institution can; a way for citizens to join with others to identify issues that matter most to people in need, develop a plan and get results. Rent Income= $26,748 (paid for all management expenses and some of the fundraising expenses) Reserve Use= $19,780 (We used some reserves to meet the program needs of our agencies) Management & Administration 6.3% 13% Fund Raising Program Support 80.7%

6 Because of YOU United Way helped over 29,000 people right here in Monroe County in 2015! In our 2 nd year of having Project R.E.D we doubled the number of families that received our aid. 13 homes had improvements made for the elderly and disabled here in Monroe County.

7 Everyone needs a little help sometimes, even the jolly man in the red suit. That's where Santa's Helper comes in. Santa's Helper is a program coordinated by the United Way of Monroe County to provide a complete Christmas for the underprivileged children that are in any of our schools in Monroe County. This year, Santa's Helper gave assistance to 485 families within a four week time.
