6 To the best of our knowledge there re no other mjor ddiction conferences scheduled to the time frme of the lst of June or first prt of July The mjor ddiction conference for Chicgo lnd is tenttively scheduled for the lst full week of Mrch Host Informtion The Illinois Certifiction Bord (ICB) is the Administrtive gent for the ICPG nd we hve mny yers, over 30, of plnning nd hosting conferences. We currently provide two stte wide conferences in Illinois for ddiction professionls s well s other humn service providers. The lrgest of the two conferences is the Spring Conference, offered in the Chicgo lnd re, the lst prt of Mrch first of April. For the Spring Conference we hve hd ttendnce between individuls, with n verge for the lst 10 yers being over 800. We ve lwys hit our room commitment. The ICB does ll of the plnning nd mrketing for this nnul 4 dy conference. We develop the brochure, secure the site contrctully, do the cll for ppers nd contrct the presenters, pply for continuing eduction recognition s needed, schedule ll the udio visul requirements, prepre ll the hndouts, pln nd mnge bnquet contrct of over $50,000, providing ll the ttendees sit down lunch nd two breks every dy of the conference. (Fee is $325 for the entire week.) We lso re responsible for mrketing to exhibitors, generlly over 40, for the week. The ICB mnges ll the conference registrtions, nme tgs, portfolio colition, wlk in registrtions, presenttion evlutions, overll conference evlutions, nd ll the behind the scenes work necessry for successful conference. Given the strin for the trining funds over the lst few yers, the ICB hs mnged to provide very successful conference reching or surpssing ll of our projections for the conference. The ICB commits its six experienced stff to this conference from beginning to end.
