2 Course Description The APAGE Reproductive Surgery & Hands-On Workshop is the first APAGE International Workshop to be held in South-East Asia. The workshop is organised by the Asia-Pacific Association for Gynecologic Endoscopy & Minimally Invasive Therapy (APAGE) and in collaboration with University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur and The Gynaecological Endoscopic Society of Malaysia. This two-day event will include live demonstrations, animal lab and lectures. The main objective is to focus on reproductive surgery including myomectomy in hysteroscopy and laparoscopy, endometriosis, leiomyomas and adenomyosis. This workshop affirms our goal to expand the role of Minimally Invasive Gynaecology in Malaysia as well as strengthen our network to broader horizon amongst the South-East Asia participating countries and faculty members. This first scientific meeting of GESM will feature exchange of ideas via oral and video presentations amongst its members. The APAGE fellow session will be an olympiad of views, tips and techniques on an international platform. The Perioperative Nursing Programme will consistently be part of our curriculum as we believe the equal importance and need for continuous training of our nurses and endoscopic operating theatre staff. 3 Target Audience O&G physicians, Gynaecologic surgeons, OBGYN fellows, residents, postgraduate students, endoscopic operating theatre staff who would like to pursue training particularly progressing from Intermediary to Advance Level.
