Calculate the total energy consumed by the tube lights and press in a month 30 days. Two coils of resistances 3 Ώ and 6 Ώ are connected in series across a battery of 12V. Find the electrical energy consumed in 1 minute in each resistance when these are connected in series. 10. An electric iron consumes energy at the rate of (a) 840 W when heating at maximum rate and (b) 360 W when the heating is at the minimum. The voltage is 220V. What are the current and the resistance in each case? 11. Two copper wires A and B of length 30 m and 10 m have radii 2cm and 1cm respectively. Compare the resistance of the two wires.
