1 Reduce feed & production costs through optimized amino acid AVAILABILITY CIBENZA DP100

2 WHAT IS CIBENZA DP100? CIBENZA DP100 feed additive from Novus is an intrinsically heat stable, potent protease enzyme feed additive that optimizes the digestibility of proteins in poultry feed ingredients. Benefits in Broiler and Layer Diets Reduced cost of feed and meat/egg production by: Lowering inclusion level of costly protein sources Optimizing use of lower digestibility feed ingredients Optimizes amino acid digestibility and increased metabolizable energy Better production performance due to: Improved protein digestibility Improved energy digestibility Sustaining optimum gut health Reduction in hindgut fermentation and reducing nitrogen waste Ingredient risk management through: Introduction and/or increased use of cost-effective, locally available alternative feed ingredients Minimizing effects of anti-nutritional factors (ANF) in feed ingredients by directly degrading them or by increasing their exposure to endogenous enzymes

3 CIBENZA DP100 Characteristics Broad-spectrum protease that works on all protein sources Protease activity: 600,000 units/gram (Novus standard procedures) An Economic Advantage Commercial trials have confirmed that after reducing dietary amino acids, supplementing the diet with CIBENZA DP100 reduced production cost by as much as 4.4 cents/kg live weight, and maintained growth performance (Table 1). TABLE 1. CIBENZA DP100 Commercial Broiler Trial in Brazil Treatment Number of Cost of Barns BWG Adjusted Productivity Production (50,000 (g/d) FCR Index (USD/kg birds/barn) Live Bird) Control DP Cost Reduction of USD/kg Live Bird CIBENZA DP100 improves the digestibility of all feed protein sources, allowing for alternative ingredient use and feed cost reduction strategies (Figure 1) Figure 1. 4 Performance and Health By improving the digestion of proteins and amino acids, CIBENZA DP100 helps make valuable nutrients more available to the animals for growth and performance, while minimizing negative effects of undigested protein in the hind gut (Figures 2-5). By doing so, CIBENZA DP100 reduces negative impact of ANF on gut brush border and increases available nutrients to the villi, therefore improving overall gut health and morphology. 5 Managing Risks Posed by Anti-Nutritional Factors Many anti-nutritional factors such as Glycinin and ß-Conglycinin, are proteins, and can adversely affect ingredient quality and animal performance. CIBENZA DP100 degrades these factors and minimizes their presence, ensuring high quality feed (Figure 6). Figure 6.
