2 Learning Objectives The learning objectives for this meeting include: To explore issues affecting orthopaedic patients along the continuum of life from cradle to grave To reflect on the current changes in the healthcare system environment in Ontario and beyond To update surgeons on recent advances in orthopaedic surgery To update surgeons on evidence-based practice in orthopaedic surgery To reflect on the changing landscape of Health Care in Ontario To understand and discuss controversies in management of specific fracture patterns To update surgeons on best practices in treatment of hip fractures To update surgeons on common pediatric orthopaedic injuries and review their optimal management To provide a comprehensive review of the opioid crisis and the role of medical cannabis in pain management Accreditation This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the Canadian Orthopaedic Association.
