1 Release Notes & Installation Instructions Medtech32 ACC Subsidy Updates for s, Nurses, Radiologists, Specialists & Specified Treatment Providers and for Physiotherapy Services (Effective 1 December 2016) These release notes contain important information for Medtech32 users. 2 ACC Subsidy Updates 1 December 2016 ACC has advised that there is an increase of 2.22% to all the amounts ACC is liable to pay, or contribute towards treatment, under the Cost of Treatment Regulations (CoTR). These changes will take effect on 1 December In addition, ACC has advised that new service item codes for physiotherapy following ACC-funded surgery (acute and elective surgery) are being introduced on 1 December Physiotherapists will not have to apply for further treatment via the post-surgery phone approval or the ACC32 process before commencing post-surgery treatment. This update will install the following ACC subsidy amendments for the listed Services Contracts, effective from 1 December 2016, within Medtech32. 19 Installation Prerequisites Checklist Check the current Medtech32 installed version [Help About Medtech32] The practice must be on the following Medtech32 version: Version 10 or later It is not required for users to be logged out of Medtech32 for this update to be run. Ensure you are logged onto Windows with Full Administrative rights when performing ANY installation, update or maintenance tasks. 4. Ensure you are logged onto the Medtech32 Server. 5. Check that this document has been reviewed and understood. Location of Installer 1. Visit our website at 2. Select New Zealand in the region drop down menu (top right-hand side of the window). 3. Select the menu Support Medtech32 Downloads. The New Zealand Medtech32 Downloads page will be displayed. 4. Locate the update called ACC Subsidy Updates (1 December 2016) in the list. 5. 20 Medtech32 ACC Subsidy Updates Installation 1. Ensure that you have completed and checked all the items in the Installation Prerequisites Checklist above. 2. Download the Medtech32 ACC Subsidy Updates (1 December 2016) Installer as described above. 3. Double click on the EXE to start the installation process. 4. If any security warnings appear in your environment, select Run. 5. The installation process will begin. 6. Once the update is completed, the following message will be displayed. 7. Click OK to close the installation screen.
