Well-respected Orthopaedic Group seeks an additional orthopaedic Physician Assistant to work directly with a Spine Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. This position is a combination of the office and the OR. The group has their own MRI and Physical Therapy Center. This is a state-of-the-art facility with EMR and Digital X-ray. The newly-hired PA would eventually run an orthopaedic clinic. The PA needs to be a self-starter that can hit the ground running! Responsibilities include: H&P s, patient evaluation and education, review lab results, write scripts, hospital rounds, call within a clinic and hospital setting. Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified and able to work well in a fastpaced environment. Previous orthopaedic PA experience is required! The location is in a beautiful area of an upscale suburb of Phoenix. The group prefers candidates that have ties to the Phoenix area. This group is a high-volume practice that handles muscular skeletal injuries. This position will include some sporting event coverage. The newly-hired PA s responsibilities include providing first assist, patient evaluation and education, pre and post-h&p s, injections (small joint, trigger point, PRP and sin-visc), rounding, consultation and reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. Successful candidate should be NCCPA-Certified. Candidates should have a WA license or have one pending. PA s must have a minimum of two years of sports orthopaedic experience.
