2 DISCLOSURE INFORMATION In accordance with ACCME Standards for Commercial Support SM of Continuing Medical Education and the American College of Phlebology s disclosure policy for CME activities, anyone in a position to control content have been asked to disclose any relationships they have with an ACCME-defined commercial interest that may have relevance to the content of their presentation(s) or role in the activity. The ACCME defines relevant financial relationships as financial relationships with a commercial interest in any amount occurring within the past 12 months, and defines commercial interest as any entity producing, marketing, re-selling, or distributing health care goods or services consumed by, or used on, patients. ACCME considers relationships of the person involved in the CME activity to include financial relationships of a spouse or partner. Such disclosure is intended to provide participants with sufficient information to evaluate whether any given presentation has been influenced by the individual s relationship(s) or financial interest with said company(ies). Circumstances create a conflict of interest when an individual has an opportunity to affect CME content about products or services of a commercial interest with which s/he has a financial relationship. The purpose of identifying and addressing potential conflicts of interest is to ensure a proper balance, independence, objectivity and scientific rigor of the ACP s educational activities. The ACP does not view the existence of a financial relationship as necessarily implying bias or decreasing the value of participation in CME activities, but must ensure that a financial interest is not a conflict of interest. Note that all faculty disclosures, including invited speaker, abstract presenters, workshop faculty, and moderators, are provided in the 31 st Annual Congress mobile app and at zerista.com. Disclosures for abstract reviewers, clinical content peer-reviewers, planners, and staff are listed below.
