2 About SEMAC - Saskatchewan Emergency Medicine Annual Conference - The Saskatchewan Emergency Medicine Annual Conference - #SEMAC is designed for family physicians, emergency physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, paramedics and residents who manage patients in the acute care setting. Other health professionals are welcome to attend. Participants in the Saskatchewan Emergency Medicine Annual Conference - #SEMAC (SEMAC) will be able to assess and manage injuries and medical conditions commonly seen in the emergency department, improve commonly used skills that will help in day-to-day practice in the emergency department, review the diagnosis and management of select acute conditions, and will discuss new recommendations and guidelines which will impact their practice. This conference meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. It has been certified by The Division of Continuing Medical Education, College of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan for up to 9.75 Mainpro + credits, or MOC program (Section 1) credit hours.
