Agenda Discussions Action points Welcome and The meeting opened by the cluster chair Abdulwahab Ali, Introduction beginning a few verses of the Holly Quran read by one of the participants, and then the chair has been given the speech to Dr. Feysal, Nutrition Manager of the FMOH to welcome the participants to the MoH meeting venue and thanked how they have attended the meeting, the MoH also thanked to the cluster chairs how they have arranged the agendas of the meeting, the MoH has been given an update to the partners towards the ongoing projects in the countrywide specially Banadir region such as the resilience project which will not affect the previous running projects, Finally the MoH has emphasized that partners should attend continuously to their cluster at the MoH and added that if there is any organization which planning to open/star a new program or willing to close out a program should inform the ministry prior of any action. Then the speech has been given back to the chair so as to continue the meeting. Review of the previous meeting minutes and action points The previous meeting minutes has been reviewed and discussed while the action points also been debated and finalized. Key nutrition services and situation highlights ACF/AAH: ACF has conducted SMART survey targeting Mogadishu IDP s. Upon completion, a preliminary presentation of the key results was presented to the partners and MOH, and final report will be shared widely to the partners through the cluster and MOH after validation of the survey by AIMWG.

2 IMAM + IYCF training will be conducted in the coming month. Normal admission trends were reported, with enough stock supplies. Joint supervision of ACF and WOCCA representatives was carried out to KAHDA in ACF coverage area to avoid duplication. CESVI: Action Point 1; The and the FMoH will assess and visit the WOCCA HC in KAHDA which is providing SHF supported SC and OTP nutrition programs. CESVI is planning to start the resilience program at two health centers in Wadajir district (Wadajir health center & Halane health center) and two health centers in Afgoye district (Elasha HC & Jazeera HC) as the project is integrated OTP, TSFP and MCHN the plan is to start registration in April. As the resilience project suggested CESVI will hand-over its nutrition interventions to SORDO start from April. CESVI has notified a decrease in admission trends to their sites in last month, and they have enough stock balances. Finally, CESVI has updated that they are yet waiting the activation of their PCAs and FLAs, as long as they are now working in a gap. CWW; Action Point 2; The will share partners to the tracing form so as to report the movement of the new Arrivals. CWW updated that their Integrated health and nutrition services are successfully running in all CWW target areas. Both ECHO and DFID (IRF5) grants are coming to end 31 st March However, IRF5 will be expected to extend till may Consequently, BRiCs multi-year project is expected to fund all Concern health and nutrition target areas. Brics will majorly expected to emphasize on resilience rather than curative services. ECHO grant is also expected to cover some of health and nutrition services in both Banadir and lower Shabelle.

3 As CWW stated WFP will be covering TSFP service in 5 sites in Afgooye and 2 sites in Mogadishu corridor. Also CWW mentioned that there is some challenges including RUSF supply shortage, Banadir SC PCA has ended hence extension confirmed. Lack of supplies is also major challenge in the SC and Evictions along Mogadishu corridor. Finally CWW is planning to Start CINS (Cash for Improved Nutrition in Somalia) and R2HC research projects in Mogadishu corridor. Action Point 3; The and the FMoH will arrange a joint Rapid MUAC Screening and Service Mapping in Kahda and Daynile Districts including the new IDPs at Bankala and Arafat areas. RI: RI updated that their Heliwa district OTPs sites has slightly increased admissions in the past month, while they have screened a total of 2637 under five SAM children at the both Bandarwanag and Waxarcade sites. RI has also updated that their PD and FLA are still under review. OSPAD: OSPAD has updated that there is a decreased admission trends, due to that there is no any distributions of food commodities, only screening is going on with Scope registration to their HC in HODAN District while the FLA has activated and will be affective up to Dec of this year. OSPAD has also updated that they have opened new TSFP&MCHN Site in Odweyne, Deyniile District, Screening and Scope registration is running smoothly and they are facing high admissions as they have mentioned while the FLA is affective up to Dec of this year. Finally OSPAD has stated that their Site in Howlwadag, District which was providing OTP, TSFP and MCHN has faced in decreased admission trends due to lack of distribution of food commodities while they only do screening and Scope registration, Furthermore, they do not have active PCA to their OTP and their stock is Zero balance in the past two months. Action Point 4; The, FMoH and Medair will make sure to transfer the Beneficiaries in MCHN program to IRC s HC in Karan District.

4 WARDI: WARDI has updated that their EPHS project in Dharkinley/Kahda disricts has Expired on 28 th February, and a new PD has been sent to UNICEF for review, as well as their OTPs in Kahda district The PD will expire in April, and it has been added One month of no cost extension. Finally as WARDI updated their SC in HamarJaJab district is functioning well and their receive both referrals and new admissions while they sometimes receive cases from outside of Banadir region such as the neighboring regions (Lower- Shabele) and they will share the cluster the SC s success stories. SAF-UK: SAF-UK updated that their OTP in Kahda district s PD has expired in mid-march while the new PD is yet under review, in addition to that there is no stock balance to their activities until the activation of the new PD. Updates of New Arrivals (No of HH, Their New or Old Camps, and Their Response). As PAC updated there are both evicted IDPs and new arrivals mainly from Balcad District at BANGALA area of Dayniile District PAC have arranged a teat to do screening and refferals while they have also given to them deworming, health and nutrition awareness, there is also a preliminary report which is indicated that these IDPs have been given a five year period land by the land owners and the local authority, the number of HH of this area has been estimated a total of households while still the movements is continues which may increase their number. SOYDA gave an update of 200 households those have arrived near to their site in KM13 MACANI area of Dayniile District which increased their admissions in March according to February those were mainly coming from Bariire. SCI has given an update of ARAFAT area of Dayniile District which is also hosting both new IDPs which are

5 coming from Qoryoley, Balcad, Kuntrurwarey and some eviction affected IDPs while there was an estimation of 744HH as eviction affected IDPs and 624HH were new arrivals as SCI was a partner from the making Jointly Inter-Cluster need assessment in this area and they have noted some humanitarian challenges. Knowledge/Experience Sharing Sessions: AOB CWW has presented two research presentation which they are going to conduct the first presentation was CINS (Cash for Improved Nutrition in Somalia) and the other presentation was R2HC research projects in Mogadishu corridor. There was any other business which has been discussed during the meeting.
