15 Opening Plenary Session The 2015 Opening Plenary Session is the opening scientific highlight of the AACR Annual Meeting. A panel of distinguished speakers will launch the 2015 Annual Meeting with talks that reflect not only the extraordinary progress to date, but also an expert look to the future of cancer research. The Opening Plenary Session is expected to attract the largest audience of any session during the 2015 Annual Meeting. 21 Forums on Hot Topics in Cancer Research At least ten (10) Forums will provide opportunities for meeting attendees to discuss an array of hot topics related to cancer research. Invited speakers offer divergent perspectives, and audience interaction with presenters is highly encouraged. These symposia will provide the first disclosure of the chemistry and biology of promising new small molecules that are nearing or have recently advanced into clinical trials. These sprawling, vibrant Poster Sessions bring the breadth of science fully to life on the floor of the Meeting. Poster Sessions last for four hours and provide attendees with access to a wealth of information never before published or discussed in public, covering a wide range of topics from all disciplines relating to cancer research. Presenting scientists are available for two hours for one-on-one and small group discussions of their research. Bardos Science Education Awards for Undergraduate Students Outreach to undergraduate students includes Scholar Awards to promising undergraduate students in their junior and senior years to support their attendance at two successive AACR Annual Meetings.
