2 Head Teacher s Message As session draws to a close, I would like to take this opportunity to recognise the outstanding efforts of staff, pupils, parents and the Strathaven Community for what has been without a doubt a challenging time. We have come together as a community to ensure our pupils have been supported and have had a positive and meaningful school experience, achieving excellence in education as well as growing and developing as individuals. At Strathaven Academy we believe in recognising the success of all pupils in our school and in their role in the wider community, some of which are highlighted in this document and celebrated through the school newsletter and website. These successes would not be possible without the dedication of staff and the huge support that comes from parents, not to mention the positive attitude and excellent effort demonstrated by pupils. The ongoing support of the Parent Council and PTA has been invaluable. Stewart Nicolson Head Teacher
