When the App home page display your account name or the product screen display the Bluetooth symbol B, it means connect successfully. ( YUNMAI App can connect with the product automatically, and no need to manual pair from your mobile phone Bluetooth list.)then you can step on the smart scale with barefoot. Standing in the center, and leaning forward a little bit is prefer. 2. The situation of screen is black and no reaction when battery installed If the product show similar situation of black screen is not the defective of product, but most likely the battery is not assembled properly. 9 There are four reasons for that situation: Situation one: The age setting in the App is under 18 years old. As the juveniles is growing that the body data is changing every day, so it cannot measure and track on the exact data except weight. Situation Two: The product surface is not clean or users feet too dry. You could use wet towel to clean the surface or feet, then to weight again. Situation Three: There is no direct contact between product surface and users feet. (Such as the plastic film not be removed from the product surface or users wear too thick socks) Situation Four: Users abandoned the weighting process without finishing the measurement.(the weighting is finished after the progress bar on screen shown three times from left to right) 6. People needs attention when use the scales as below: Pregnant woman:the weak electric current is no harm for human body; however, it is better for you who are pregnant to wear slippers when you step on the scale. Due to the special situation, pregnant woman only can test weight. Under 18 years old: The stats except weight in not for young people that are under 18, because they are growing up that there is no standard measurement. Wear a heart pacemaker: Yunmai smart scale will transmit weak electric current when measure body statistics, it will affect the device normally working. So we suggest not to weight on Yunmai smart scale if wear a heart pacemaker. Or wear slippers for only measure weight.

Athlete has a higher physical quality, while Yunmai smart scale intend to measure normal users, so that there might be a big difference stats for athlete comparing to hand held body fat meter. About hemodialysis and dropsy condition: There is a weak electric current when you step on the scale to measure body impedance, but the lightly electronic is no harmful. However, it is better to not measure the stats for hemodialysis or people who are in dropsy condition. 7. There is no difference after defecating, why? Normally, body weight changes all the time. Body weight is almost composed by water, fat, muscle, and bone. After your defecating, there will be a decrease of your weight. However, Yunmai smart scale only shows the digit after the decimal point that there might not show the difference in a range in ±0.1KG. (eg and are all showed 63.8 kg) 8. If I move the scale, will it still be precision? The smart scale needs a highly precision that the inter sensor is sensitive to the change o f the outer. It is very sensitive of the sensor. When you move the scale, the sensor would be activated, so that the scale will weigh itself at the same time. It is better to wait a moment to measure when you move the scale. After you moving the scale, you can step on the scale lightly, and wait until 0 flash 3 times, and then you can use it. 9. When is the best moment of a day to measure? Body weight changes 1.5 to 2.5 kg in a day. As a reference, you can have a measurement plan that measure your weight at the same time every day to decrease the mistakes by natural behavior. Normally the best time to measure you weight is in the morning; after defecating or before breakfast.

11 10. Why there is a difference of the stats in an hour? Your stats floats up and down based on your diet, exercise, and other ways. The stats changes in different moments in a day, even there is not much more exercise. All the stats are calculated by the BIA measurement method, so it might influence the stats if you step on the scale not in balance. It is better to stand on the center of the scale, and lean over a little bit and close to the electrode slice. It will know your general weight and body fat percent and can distinguish the user based on that. My sister and I are generally the same weight (give or take) but my body fat is less than hers so we both can use the scale with no problems. I just step on; it measures me, and then tell me the user it assumes is using it. It s never been wrong yet, but you can

Can it be recalibrated if needed or does it do this automatically? The scale does this automatically. The display will flash 0 for three times after weighting. 20. How do you sync the scale with the YUNMAI app? After you add the scale, it will automatically sync with the app by Bluetooth every time you run it. 21. Is it instant?how long do you have to stand on the scale before it tells you weight? The scale displays weight and body fat immediately. It takes a short time to sync with your app. 22. I am a bodybuilder. BMI does not apply accurate to me since I carry a lot of muscle for my height. Will the body fat still be accurate?

Yes, the multiple users can track their separate goals from separate accounts. You have to go through the full setup process for each unique account, but once setup, the scale can tell different people apart by their weight. The scale can have up to 16 profiles. Can I switch my account in different device? The scale transmits your data to your YUNMAI account. When you log into your account, on whatever device, you ll see the data. Tips When you step on the scale, before finishing test, do not leave the scale or shake your body Do not put the scale on the soft materials,like carton, books, yoga mat. If you need to measure more than one time constantly, please wait the display turned off till 2 to 3 seconds. If you have moved the scale, you need to wait after the scale flashing 3 to 4 times for calibration

The offline date stored in the smart scale will automatically sync to Yunmai App when Bluetooth connected. And the offline date will be erased from smart scale. If you already have 16 accounts and you want to have one more account, there will be a reminder about delete some users rarely used.
