I can t believe it is already 2016! It seems like 2015 was just starting. What a busy year we had - looking back on 2015, our club accomplished a lot of great things. Started the year off having our very own Lion Marty Reading voted in as District Governor for 1F and ending it with another successful Christmas tree sale season. This year is off to great start with February 14 th District 1F Bowling tournament. Yes, bowling on Valentine s Day with your favorite sweetheart or with your favorite Lion. And finally, Friday, March 11th through Sunday, March 13th is the District 1F Convention in Itasca. I hope many of you can come out to help support our club and members at these events. Also our sympathy to Lion Vic and his family on the loss of his wife, Barbara C. Palazzolo. She will be greatly missed. Our sympathy to Lion Bob & Linda Gunning on the loss of Linda s Mom, Evelyn S. Our net profit was slightly below what we had produced and I m hoping that next year we will have an increase in net profit by reducing the amount of trees purchased.
